Experimentation is in progress for WhatsApp New Features like – ‘Disappearing messages’, ‘View Once’, ‘Multi-device support’ etc, which is aimed to further enhance the user experience.
Even though Facebook was working on a bunch of WhatsApp New Features, however, there wasn’t any formal announcement for the same, till today, when Mark Zuckerberg has confirmed 3 WhatsApp New Features.
What are the 3 WhatsApp New Features?
1. DISAPPEARING MESSAGES – This has been available for some time now, but, WhatsApp is now planning to launch a full-fledged mode labelled ‘disappearing mode’ that will turn on disappearing messages for all your chats.
2. VIEW ONCE – is a feature that will make content disappear as soon as the person you’ve sent it to has seen it – like Snaps. When this feature is turned on, the recipient will be able to open your photos and videos once before they disappear from the chat. Zuckerberg also clarified that people can still take screenshots of the content before it disappears.
3. MULTI DEVICE SUPPORT – his feature has been in testing for quite some time, and it is confirmed to roll out in public beta within the next two months. Multi device will let you simultaneously use your WhatsApp account on multiple devices even when your primary device (the one with your SIM card in it) isn’t connected to the internet.
