Instagram recently rolled out three new updates about Instagram Live, including that the time limit for Instagram live streams has been increased to 4 hours from 60 minutes. The change has been rolled out globally for all users.
The announcement was made on Twitter, through its official Instagram account, along with the other two announcements. Users, globally can now save their Lives for 30 days before they delete it and they’ll also be able to see a “Live Now” section in the IGTV app and on Explore so that users can easily discover more Lives. The move is targeted towards helping creators to interact with their audience for longer periods of time without getting interrupted every hour.
Time and again, Instagram has been adding features to make its platform more interactive and user-friendly. The company recently upgraded the audio features in Reels where it has added three new features that aim to simplify the process of sharing and saving the audio clips for users. Audio clips can be saved and audio pages can be shared over Direct Messages. It’ll also allow users to browse through new sections like ‘For You’ and ‘Trending’
The latest update including all the new features has been already rolled out.
