Google owned platform, YouTube, has always been sensitive about hateful or disrespectful comments. Keeping this in mind, YouTube has added a new feature that will prevent such practices on its platform.

The new feature will warn users when they post offensive comments under a video.

How YouTube will warn?

YouTube will prompt the user posting hated comments to make the comments more respectful or refine the language of the comments. It also plans to have a content moderation tool, wherein the comments posted by a user, if deemed inappropriate will go for moderation and will only appear as public, once the content is approved by the concerned authorities.

Not all the comments will go under moderation. Only those comments which appear to be spreading hatred or appear disrespectful will go for moderator approval. The platform hasn’t yet made it clear on how it will penalising the using spreading hatred over its platform.

Nevertheless, its a good move to make the community spread more kindness, instead of hatred.
