PayPal has started cryptocurrency as a means for making payments. The launch has been confirmed by PayPal President and CEO Dan Schulman. “This is the first time you can seamlessly use cryptocurrencies in the same way as a credit card or a debit card inside your PayPal wallet,” Schulman told Reuters.

Currently, this service would only be available for users in the United States.

Which cryptocurrency can you use?

Even though all details are not in the open yet, however, users will be able to pay using bitcoin, ether, bitcoin cash, and litecoin. The service will be available at all of PayPal’s 29 million merchants in a few upcoming months.

PayPal started allowing users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies in October 2020. Now they are taking it a step further by allowing users to trade the same while making purchase son the platform.
