In a recent development by the Facebook owned platform – WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to change colours in the app. Information about the feature has been shared by WABetaInfo, a popular website that pushes regular updates around new WhatsApp features.
No further details have been shared so far. Seems like WhatsApp is trying to withdraw attention from its infamous user update privacy policy which made a lot of users leave the most popular instant messaging app and switch to other platforms like Signal and Telegram.

Since 2021, the instant messaging app has been facing a backlash for the updated privacy policy from several countries, including India. As a matter of fact, the Facebook owned platform was forced to pushed the deadline for the updated privacy policy from February 8th, 2021 to May 15th, 2021. Amidst all these, they are coming up with new changes to keep their platform at the top of mind recall with their current users, as well as to revive those users who have left the platform.
