India’s Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) giant Dabur has increased hiring for digital marketing services as it is allocating most of financial budgets to marketing online.
Year 2020 has been the year of internet. Most of the business who never advertised online have switched wholly, or partly towards the internet realm. One of such brand is Dabur.
Dabur received most of it’s profit from print media and TV advertising, however with the pandemic changed consumer behaviour in an unexpected way, hence digital seemed the best way to be in-sight of your target audience. Even though Dabur has not disclosed the percentage of FY budget allocated to digital, we assume that it must be a major chunk looking at their digital hiring trends.
