Most of the browsers have their own system of managing passwords, however, Google Chrome has pushed the boundary ahead this time – Google Chrome 88 now offers additional features to protect the privacy of its users.
Google has constantly been beefing up its built-in password manager with features. Its biggest is perhaps Chrome’s ability to detect if the password you used may have been part of some past data breach, a feat that’s easy to pull off if you’re Google.
Google Chrome new update –
With the new update, users can check the strength of their current passwords. Not only this, Google Chrome 88 also gives options for a strong password. You might think of this feature which is already been in Safari for a while, but this is something different.
Safari gives you an auto-generated password at the time of creating the password, it does not gives you suggestion on passwords strength for those credentials which are saved in the browser list. That’s where Google Chrome 88 takes the lead.
The update has been started to roll out, but, as always, it will be rolled out in a phase wise manner.
Have you received the new update yet?
