Google introduced virtual try-on option for men’s and. women’s dresses last year. In 2024, it’s expanding its Virtual Try-On option to more clothing types, as it continues to develop new processes to facilitate more accurate depictions of items.
What is Virtual Try-On?
Virtual Try On uses AI to show how chosen items look on different body types “down to the shadows, wrinkles and draping”, helping to improve the online shopping process.
Google’s expanding Virtual Try On to dresses as well. As you can see in this example below, the updated Try On process now enables you to visualize what dresses look like on different body types.
