Here’s Google New feature – Google Now Lets You Password Protect Your Search History For Devices You Share.
We hope you are aware that if you are logged into Google Chrome, It will share your history across other devices, wherever you log into!
Google new feature allows you to protect your ‘My Activity’ page with the need of a password. So if you’re someone who needs to share the likes of an Android tablet, laptop, a PC or smart speaker with others in the house, you can now be rest assured that your web, app and location history can’t be tampered with or viewed by any of the other users.
How to use Google New Feature ?
To enable password protection for the ‘My Activity’ section of your Google account, follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the ‘My Activity’ page after logging-in into your Google account.
Step 2: Click ‘manage my activity verification’
Step 3: Click the option to ‘require extra verification’ and enable it.
Step 4: You’ll now see a lock icon alongside an option to ‘verify’ your identity with a password when visiting this page. Anyone who doesn’t know the password will no longer be able to see the details of your activity logs.
