What are Instagram Insights?
Instagram Insights is a native analytics tool that provides data on follower demographics and actions, as well as your content. This information makes it easy to compare content, measure campaigns, and see how individual posts are performing
What’s new for Instagram Insights?
Earlier this week, Instagram announced that Instagram insights would now be available for tracking for up-to 60 days from the usual 30 days.
As you can see here, Instagram has added a new calendar tool within IG Insights, which users will be able to access when they tap into the date range tools. The existing preset date range options will still be available along the top of the screen, so you can still measure your results based on set blocks of time, but soon, you’ll also be able to enter a custom, expanded time period for the displayed metrics.
As per Instagram, the Instagram Insights data range will soon be extended to 90 days!
As of now it’s 60 days or 2 months of Instagram Insights. The updates have already started being rolled out. Do keep your app updated and check the insights when it hits your region.
