Instagram Live Rooms is all set to get a new useful update, which will allow users to turn off sound or video while using Instagram Live Rooms feature. During Live broadcasts on Instagram Live Rooms, users will be able to turn off audio or video, just like you do on a Zoom call or Google Meet call.
This feature is similar to that of the popular audio-based app, Clubhouse.

Instagram Live Rooms was launched in March 2021. 3 users can interact with each other at one time using this feature.
How to create Instagram Live Rooms?
Creative a Live room is somewhat similar to setting up a live broadcast. Simply follow the following steps to set up a live room –
- Open Instagram stories camera
- Swipe across to the ‘Live’ mode icon
- Add a title to your Instagram live room. To do this, click on the “Left Aligned” icon on the left-hand side of the screen. Your title lets viewers know the topic of your Live Room and what they can expect.Â
- Tap on the ‘Live’ icon to start the live broadcast. Before you do so, ensure that you have a stable internet connection to avoid call drops.
- To add guests to your Instagram Live Rooms, tap the ‘Video’ icon. You can choose and send requests to participants individually for joining your live room.
