Twitter is changing under the leadership of Elon Musk. Recently, Musk announced that longer tweets would be coming to Twitter.
If you have noticed those super long tweets with ‘ Read More’ after some text, Yes, that is what it is!
Elon Musk tweeted about longer tweets on Twitter –
The current long-form tweets, now available to Twitter Blue subscribers, can be up to 4,000 characters long, and were released early last month.
Now this update is little funny, as Twitter was always seen as a ‘less text more witty platform’
Maybe the reason is because once people are spending more time watching a video or reading a longer tweet, Twitter can insert ads, then share revenue from such with creators.
