Twitter is testing a new feature that will allow users to play YouTube videos directly from within the app itself.
Why is Twitter including YouTube in-app play?
As per a survey report, most of the internet users are inclined towards videos, and it does not count as a good experience when you have to leave an app to play a video on another app.
Being able to watch YouTube videos directly within the app, means more convenience for the users, especially the ones using smartphones. The good news is that you can watch videos in full screen mode, that too within the app.
The test mode is going to run for 4 weeks in limited demographics, post which it would be available at large.
Yes, it’s a good move by Twitter, considering the short attention span of homo-sapience and their interest in videos.
