Instagram Reels are getting some more Tik-Tok inspired features, like a new ‘Text-To-Speech’ option and Voice Effect Options in Instagram reels.
As you can see in the image above, the new option will give Reels creators two voice options to choose from, with the auto voice then reading out any text that you’ve added to your clip.
This option is already hugely popular on Tik Tok.

Another new feature for Instagram reels is voice effects!
Now, you can change your recorded voice to make it sound like you’ve been sucking on helium, or you’re a robot, or a giant, among various others, which could be an interesting way to change up your clips. See image below –
Once again, this feature has been on TikTok for quite a while now.
Seems, like Instagram is trying to tap on those regions where TikTok is unavailable…like India?
