The social media platform, Twitter, after much deliberation has given a go ahead to Twitter Super Follows feature.
What is Twitter Super Follows Feature?
Twitter Super Follows feature is a new subscription based opportunity that allows followers access to some exclusive content, based on their subscriptions.
Super Follow enables creators to monetize their Twitter accounts and the content they share, while followers can use the opportunity to financially support their favorite creators and get access to special content.
Twitter announced this in a blog post on 1st September, 2021.
Three subscription options are available –
- $2.99 (approximately INR 218)
- $4.99 (approximately INR 365)
- $9.99 (approximately INR 730)
People who buy any of the subscriptions will have ‘Super Follower’ badge on their profiles.
The feature is limited to few U.S. users at this point in time, but, based on the response, it would be extended to other regions, as well.
he company has a waitlist that interested users can sign up for, putting them in line to potentially get access to Super Follow in the future. The full list of FAQ, including how to sign up to Supper Follow someone, can be found on Twitter’s website.
