The social media platform is testing a major overhaul for Twitter Tweetdeck.
Twitter has rolled out a preview for select users of the redesigned app. The social media app shared a single image of the upcoming redesign on its platform, giving users a preview of how it may look once it is released. A reverse engineering expert also shared how users may be able to view it by opting in for the beta test. Twitter also mentioned that eligible users will get a notification on TweetDeck to opt in for the new redesign.
As you can see in the image below, Twitter tweetdeck incorporates the platform’s column creation tools into the main display, as opposed to tapping on the ‘+’ symbol in the left hand control space.
The column options have also been expanded, with new functionality listed in the creation tools.
“It’s easier to create a search column that shows *exactly* what you want to see right off the bat. By clicking “Add column”, then “Search”, you’ll have access to advanced search filters while creating your column.”
There’s also another way of adding more discovery list options –
Twitter Tweetdeck option is currently under testing and is available to some selected users only via invite from Twitter.
