WhatsApp has finally added a feature to their desktop app, wherein, a user can make and receive voice and video calls. However, there’s a catch – Do not consider this as another version of Zoom, as you can only place and receive a 1-0-1 call.

Calls with multiple users would not be possible in the desktop version.

Is this going to be beneficial for WhatsApp users?

Well, we cannot comment about WhatsApp users, but yes, in a way it is going to be beneficial for WhatsApp. Since the time WhatsApp released the notification for updating its privacy policy, it has backlashed them and they turned out losing a large number of users.
