YouTube Testing A Feature to Auto-Translate Video Titles to Users Preferred Language

YouTube

YouTube is testing a new feature that will allow users to see content like video titles, descriptions, captions, and more to their preferred native language.

The feature is currently in Phase I of testing and as of now it translates from English to Portuguese and Turkish. This features works well on both web and phone apps. YouTube has not disclosed the exact reason for this feature but, increasing their global reach might be one agenda for the move.

As of now, YouTube does show results in local languages even when searched with English texts, although the algorithm does under-stably mess up every now and then.
